Food Distribution Hours
The Thurston County Food Bank is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for food distribution. Services are also available on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening of every month from 5:00 pm. - 7:00 pm.
Pre-approved disabled clients may come between the hours of 11:00am and 11:30am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Food Bank relies largely on community support. In-kind donations of food and volunteers are at the core of the annual budget. Administrative costs are kept to a minimum, accounting for less than 5 percent of the annual budget.
Donation Hours
We accept donations Monday – Friday, from 8:00am – 3:30pm
- If you are donating a large quantity of food please pull into the loading bay located on Franklin street, on the side of the building. The front office will be able to assist you or call ahead

- Food Donation Ideas:
- High protein food such as canned chili, peanut butter, beans, or canned meat.
- Pasta and Macaroni and Cheese.
- Canned fruit and vegetables.
- Soup.
- Baby Food and Formula.
- Fresh fruits and vegetables that store well in a refrigerator.
- Cash and Checks are greatly appreciated. (As of this time we are not set up to receive on-line donations, thank you for your patience). The donation can be dropped off during our donation hours or you can mail a check to our mailing address:
