Eat Smart, Live Strong – Nutrition Class for Seniors @ The Olympia Center, Room 208

Eat Smart, Live Strong nutrition class for seniors age 60 and up. Held at the Olympia Center.

Enjoy fun and lively activities with other older adults! Talk about easy ways to make smart food choices and exercise more. Learn how you can Eat Smart and Live Strong!

Get inspired to eat more fruits and vegetables each day and aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity at least 5 days per week. We’ll do some simple exercises together and then talk about goals and barriers.

New Volunteer Orientation @ TCFB Warehouse & Distribution Center

Thinking about volunteering at the Food Bank? Volunteer orientation is the first step! At orientation, you will do the following things:

  • Receive a tour of our facility
  • Learn about volunteer shifts and tasks
  • Meet our staff
  • Learn about our programs
  • Fill out a volunteer application

Orientations are open to the public – there is no need to RSVP. If you would like to volunteer but cannot make it to orientation, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@thurstoncountyfoodbank.org or (360) 352-8597 x107.
