DONATIONS

Donations are needed and appreciated.  Guidelines are as follows:

  • Cash is accepted during office hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 3:30pm), at which time a receipt is given.  Please supply your return address so that we may acknowledge your gift.
  • Personal checks can be made out to Thurston County Food Bank and may be delivered in person during office hours or by mail to:

Thurston County Food Bank
220 Thurston Ave. NE
Olympia, WA 98501

  • Many people donate through payroll deduction.  There are 3 options:
    • State Employees - Combined Fund Drive.
    • Federal Employees - Combined Federal Campaign.
    • Private Sector Employees - United Way.
  • For online bankers a bill payer service is another donor option.  The food bank receives paper checks from several third party services, primarily “Online Resources.”
  • Food donations are accepted during regular business hours.  If you are delivering a large amount, such as a food drive collection, please call ahead (360) 352-8597 x100, so that we can be prepared for your arrival.
  • Home grown produce is most welcome, see: http://www.thurstoncountyfoodbank.org/produce.htm
  • Gifts of non-perishable food products are also welcome.  Peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, and boxed cereal are always on our wish list.
  • We honor donor intent.  If you wish to support a specific program, funds will be directed accordingly.

We do NOT share personal information or solicit donations.

Thank you from Thurston County Food Bank.
